There's Movement in Feock Parish!

Yesterday we started the pilot community transport scheme. Seven volunteers have received training from AgeUK and are ready and willing to help people get about the parish!

This is a fantastic step forward for the small parish of Feock, with 3,500 residents, and 40% over 60, accessibility will slowly become more of an issue. Although Devoran and Carnon Downs have good links to public transport, other areas of the parish are less well served.

The volunteer scheme runs from Monday 26th to Friday 20th February, and ANYONE can call up and book a journey.

The booking line is open between 9.30am and 1.00pm Monday to Thursday. Call 07904547822 to book, ideally 48 hours advance notice, although shorter lead in times may be accomodated.
