All Town and Parish Councillors terms will end at the start of May 2025.
Local elections across Cornwall are due to take place on Thursday 1st May 2025. The prospective timetable can be viewed online, beginning with the publication of notice of election on Friday 14 March through to polling day on Thursday 1 May, on the How to stand as a Councillor page on Cornwall Council’s website https://www.cornwall.gov.uk/.../how-to-stand-as-a.../
Cornwall Council will be holding a Councillor Fair on Saturday 18 January for anyone interested in standing as a Cornwall councillor or a city, town or parish councillor in the May 2025 elections. The fair will take place from 9am-4pm at New County Hall in Truro and will include presentations about what it’s like to be a councillor and an opportunities to ask questions. We currently have two vacancies, one in Devoran ward and one in Feock ward, these will be filled by co-option at a future Parish Council meeting, if you are interested in being co-opted please email the Parish Clerk clerk@feockparishcouncil.gov.uk again your term will end at the start of May 2025 and you will then need to stand again if you to continue as a Councillor.
