The four yearly Town and Parish Council elections (as well as the Cornwall Council elections) are due to be held on 1st May 2025. The notice of election has been published today (14th March 2025) and the pre-election period has now started.
Parish and town councils are the most local tier of local government. Councillors make decisions that influence how the Council works. The decisions they make affect the lives of everyone who lives, works or visits the parish or town. Councillors are representatives of their community with a connection to the area, acting with integrity to make the best decisions for residents on local services in the area.
